Jennifer “Jen” Brown, MSL joined the Flagstaff Police Department in 1995 as a part-time high school student employee in the Records Division. After graduating high school she became a full time tenure employee as a Records Clerk. Jennifer became intrigued with the communications section and worked in Communications for five years. After five years Jennifer was assigned to the Evidence Division. While working in evidence, Jennifer assisted other divisions to alleviate short staffing, some job duties included: Property Control, Records, Communications, and Parking Control. Jennifer worked in the Evidence section for ten years before applying for the Special Services Supervisor position. Her current position is Support Services Manager. She supervises over Records, Property, Fleet, Evidence and the department's budget. Jennifer has been assigned the project manager for the WEBRMS implementation for the police department.

Jennifer has accomplished a Bachelors degree in Public Safety Administration and a Masters of Science in Leadership at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Jennifer has completed the Arizona Leadership for Police Organizations held by AZ Post and the Flagstaff Leadership Program. Jennifer on occasion, instructs for Coconino Community College teaching business ethic classes during the spring. Jennifer enjoys learning and plans to continue her education concentrating on Fleet management, Evidence and Policy procedures.

Jennifer is a native of Flagstaff. She lives with her husband and two children. She is married to Kelly Brown, who also works at the Flagstaff Police Department as an officer. Jennifer has a 16 year old son named Wyatt, a 13 year old son named Morgan and a 6 year old named Warren. In Jen’s spare time, she loves to exercise, bike, hike, four wheeling, read, and go camping with her family and friends.
