Jim is the E911 CAD/GIS Systems Engineer supporting the Port of Seattle 911 Communications Center. The Port of Seattle 911 Communications Center manages Police, Security, Fire, and EMT events at the maritime and airport properties owned and operated by the “Port”. Law enforcement provided on the maritime side, include cargo and container facilities, cruise ship terminals, fishing and pleasure boat marinas, shoreline parks, and other harbor related operations. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, which handled 45.7 million passengers in 2016, is supported by both Police and Fire/EMT departments. Jim previously held management and staff positions in corporate IT, including systems architecture, software testing, network engineering, server engineering, client support, and software development teams.
